A ME B - BREATHE

@ameb1 - Introducing “Breathe” the full-length debut release from Manchester urban artist / songwriter A Me B (real name Amy Burns. Get it??). The fresh release follows on from its early success and appearance on the BBC’s ‘Introducing’ show, with radio hosts singing the praises, describing the Great Manchester youngster as ‘a polished act’.

‘Breathe’ features a catchy commercial sound with impressive wordplay from A Me B. This is sure to be spinning at a dance floor near you, with widespread appeal to partygoers of all ages.  The record has already achieved top 20 status in the Music Week Club chart!

A Me B’s heartfelt and meaningful lyrics are set to take the British Urban scene by storm with her distinctive and engaging sound, which are described as edgy and creative, yet still heavily commercial and radio friendly!

2013 is set to be an exciting journey for A Me B, with her forthcoming EP release currently being readied!


Producing her own music and writing her own lyrics since the tender age of 12, A Me B is the epitome of talent, with the ability of crafting fascinating music.
Whilst still in the infancy of her career, Amy has already captured the attention of industry heavyweights, being play-listed on 4 Music’s Box TV and nominated as ‘Best Newcomer’ & ‘Best Female’ for the official Mixtape Awards, held in London, with previous winners including Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Lady Leshurr and more!

Whilst her musical style is distinctive and engaging, incorporating innovative rhymes and catchy hook, A Me B’s edgy sound is hard to resist!

At the age of 16 Amy began gigging locally, performing at some incredible venues, but has more recently had the privilege of performing at venues including: Manchester Academy, Club Academy, The Roadhouse, Dry Bar and the O2 Academy. Amy’s CV also boasts supporting many UK Chart artists such as Tinchy Stryder, DJ Ironik, and Akala. Amy’s success has not gone unnoticed, with an invitation to attend the BBC Masterclass held in London at ll known Maida Vale and Abbey Road studios where she performed a live acapella rap in front of BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson, who described her performance as 'Faultless.'


A Me B has also been made an ambassador for national youth charity ‘Ambition’ and has already experienced radio play on: BBC Introducing, Rinse FM and most UK radio stations.
