On one lovely summers day
Beside the river the animals lay
There was a mouse, her cheeks so bright
For she had seen her dazzling knight
His tall body stretched to the skies
Some say they knew him as a fella named ....
But on this very day, butterflies arose
Shy as can be, the mouse lay snug by his side
This fellow, a giraffe of some sort
He thought, my my why is she so short ?
Nevertheless he admired her so
For they were both smitten...
